Worthwhile Methods for Back-to-School Supplies

Remember when going back to school meant getting a few notebooks, a brand new box of crayons, and new shoes? In case you wore a uniform to school, you probably got some of those too; or even, you have a few new outfits. That’s it.


Well, times have changed. The production list now contains items that had been furnished by the faculties – like scissors, glue and tissues. Every child wants a new backpack, notebooks, paper, pens (red, blue and black), glue sticks, ruler, tape, scissors, markers, folders along with a calculator. If you have two children and also you shop the sales, you can still wind up coughing up greater than $100.00 in supplies alone. Which doesn’t even count the new clothes your youngster “has to have” or fees which are required for art projects, lab costs, etc.

2) Re-use – Kids think that last year’s backpack needs to go, but a quick trip over the washer might give it new life.

3) Reduce – Does your youngster have a very notebook from recently containing three pages of written material inside and 77 blank pages left? Would you find this notebook from the trash can – or worse – the garbage? Now is fun to go over waste and keeping it as small as possible through getting probably the most use possible out of every item.
