2016 Xmas Rock music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A brand new 2016 Christmas rock tune has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session players to studio record the track over a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead artist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States because of Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The track is now ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The key goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day website as possible and then hopefully in-turn they will be good enough to give to one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the song.
One other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to help fund and setup a Phuket live music pub with open stage and recording studio / teaching room on Phuket, which will present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the area’s colleges and children’s orphanages. To date ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his music Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there’s numerous ways to help including a Phuket Villa and cheap flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
