I am not sure when i heard about acim free audiobook. I understand i purchased the novel in March 2009 since i wrote the date inside the cover.
Once i attempted to read it, however, I merely can’t realize it. The style of writing was perplexing. The information it contained baffled me. I needed never before encountered such teachings. I wasn’t quite ready because of it and quickly set it aside.
Then one day, a dear friend suggested that individuals form a report group to function for the Course. I think he was simply as bewildered by it while i was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we could do together what we should wasn’t capable of singing alone.
So a number of us met initially in July 2009. During this meeting, we attempted to read a number of pages from the Text — which forms the Course with the Workbook for college students along with the Manual for Teachers. What we read in that first meeting made little sense to us. It left us frustrated.
Somehow — and that i don’t remember how — we made a decision to turn instead on the Workbook for college students, using its 365 daily lessons. We have to happen to be divinely inspired with this decision, because it worked for us and it has continued to function since that time.
Now, more than couple of years later, we are well into the Workbook for a second time. The daily lessons as well as the Text now make perfect sense. Now i enjoy doing the lessons every day after you have my first cup of joe. I am looking forward to using teachings included in the lessons into meditation where I will discuss these with my spirit guides. I am looking forward on the weekly study conferences where we review and discuss the lessons that individuals done individually through the entire week.
ACIM has changed my thought of the world, and that i are getting to be focused on it. The research conferences normally leave me in a condition of bliss, because ACIM helps me remember everything I knew when still in spirit but forgot after i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.
Here’s one example of how the Course changed my thought of the world: I used to believe that this physical world is real which was developed by God, nature, and other forces external in my opinion. Now i understand that I have been tricked by my five senses into believing our planet is real. Now i understand that it turned out I who created the sort of world around me causing all of my experiences within it. Things i see “out there” is actually only a projection of what’s happening within my own mind. This physical world is an illusion, a hologram where I will play and learn. None from it is real — I caused it to be all up!
Thus, I will be in charge of the sort of world around me and many types of my experiences within it. That’s not me a target of life’s circumstances in the end. Most people are not abusing me. God is just not punishing me. a few things i see, I experience a few things i experience, and that i feel a few things i feel since i decide to do so within my own mind.
There is no part of going “out there” to improve the product in question on earth. You can’t control, manipulate, or correct it. This may be like seeing a theatre and stomping around tear down the screen because you don’t like the movie you’re watching.
The only way to change the product in question on the watch’s screen is to locate the projector at the rear of a play modify the film. The best way to change the product in question “out there” on earth is to change what’s “in here” in your own mind. Improve your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Commence to practice unconditional love and acceptance. If you do this, the world you see “out there” will begin to change. So long as will likely be kept in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.
ACIM is very basic and unequivocal relating to this: It is possible to remain asleep with this physical illusion, dreaming that it must be real, so long as that suits you. Or you can awaken spiritually and learn which you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself declared that Heaven will be here, all over, but we’ve not managed to notice. Even as awaken in the dream about this physical illusion, we will be capable of experience Heaven in this article on the planet.
