Although it may seem like we are on the right course to economic recovery, the trail out of the house of our recession is a long one. A lot of people, myself included, have forfeit their jobs of long-time standing, thanks to downsizing, or maybe plain lack of resources to continue, that particular business. And, although the enacted Economic Stimulus Bill allows for extended unemployment benefits, which is still simply a temporary, or quick, fix, for our record number of unemployed.
And, even if it DID seem that we were just getting our heads over the economic waters, the planet economic distresses, including in Greece and Europe recently, suddenly impact us in the U.S., as well as the effects on our economy are felt inside the sharp stop by the stock market. But, as long as we remember (myself especially included) WHAT got us so far was overstepping our means, and misusing credit, accumulating huge debts- not merely personally, but also in business- and get away from that trap, economic recovery DOES, and may work.
