The moment should the wonderful wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed over the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight marriage ceremony members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Speaking of rogues, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a wedding and guests do look forward to hearing them, speaking about them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We are all aware of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, throughout the meal and after your food, yet it’s of your strong opinion the wedding speeches must be delivered following your meal. I am aware that for most bridal party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father in the father of the groom speech (5 main speakers), they will prefer to possess the wedding speeches prior to the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and exactly how most of them (and even the wedding venue staff) would prefer the wedding speeches being delivered as soon as the meal for several reasons, most of which include:

The invited guests are already fed and watered and aren’t hearing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which would be ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food can be cooked and served with the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches ahead of the meal and their could be a delay of 15 minutes to at least one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy attempting to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition in the meal towards the dancing (without a penny happening after the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared concerning the Bride & Groom after which they are fully aware they could get up, move about, take a break, go for a walk, go to the bar…)
It’s not easy for folks in the Bride & Groom to communicate in public places, as most of them wouldn’t be used of computer. So, they might, whenever they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.

There should always be some kind of formal wedding speech(es) following the meal…
