Some cleaning agents rinse off of your make-up but are nuts-severe on the skin. Some are gentler…but leave deposits through the time right behind. And after that, you have the sacred grail: micellar water.
The water-structured facial cleanser was invented by Jean-Noel Thorel, french founding father of the skincare line Bioderma. Micellar water was created to cleanse and hydrate because the naturally hard tap water was too harsh on skin, leading to dry, dull complexions.
“Challenging faucet water is involved in a high quantity of dissolved vitamins and minerals,” affirms Julie Russak, MD, of Russak Dermatology Medical center in NYC. “These can impact the safety barrier of our skin and also weaken it, creating skin area weak and susceptible to enviromentally friendly damage and pollution.”
Who is able to use cleansing water?
Nowadays, micellar water is readily offered and is deemed a hero item since it’s excellent for all skin types, (even those that have vulnerable skin recommend it). Which is a total game-changer, it’s also ideal for packing when you’re on-the-go because you can use it to remove makeup and wash your face without having to rinse it off.
