Stitch bond nonwoven fabric is manufactured out of the plastic bottles (PET), processed into recycled loose fiber (staple ), these loose or staple fibres are made from “plastic“ (PET) cool drink bottles they are further separated into :
sprite green staple fibres
stoney beige staple fibres
coke or clear white staple fibres
It is then, converted into a recycled polyester nonwoven fabric called stitch bond fabric by utilizing excellent polyester filament yarn or thread. The intertwining of the thread and loose fibre is actually a stitching process or stitching technology. This stitch bond fabric is 100 % local. Stitch bond nonwoven fabric is done by stitching polyester staple fibers and polyester filament threads together, glue will be added to change the physical aspect to form the finished products. These stitch bond non-woven fabrics come in different widths and weights, depending on the clients requirements.
