Within a Course in Miracles, Jesus tells us that miracles must be involuntary and they also should not be under conscious control. (T-1.I.5)
Once we continue this Inner journey, we think that individuals need to read and understand a good deal, that individuals should realise what God is. Yet, once we enter into this mystical direction, the point is to release precisely what stands when it comes to receiving inner guidance and from that point.
Once we start to give ourselves up to this guidance, we start by getting to determine that we were wrong about everything we thought we knew. It is exactly what guidance is leading us to, to this particular happy realization of, I became wrong about all of the painful judgments and beliefs about myself and everything else.
