Cartoons – Rare Animations

Everybody knows the popular cartoon shows of our times, Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Yogi Bear and The Flintstones, in order to mention a few, have grown to be household names all around you on this planet unless you are living under a rock, although not all cartoons that have been made become popular. Some were so unpopular that they can only lasted a really few episodes or worse yet, were never released on the mass public. We’re going to examine a few of the rare animations which have come and gone (mostly gone) over the past Four decades. It must be remarked that a whole lot of research and brain drain was required to develop these rare gems.

In 1964 there is a cartoon known as “The Big Arena of Little Adam”. It premiered on January 1 of that year. It had been a fairly easy show with regards to a young boy, Adam, who entered space. Back then, america was greatly into Gemini and the space program this cartoon did actually sound right. While over 100 episodes were made, eventually we tired of space and the cartoon itself has totally drifted into obscurity. The only thing remaining of it will be the silly theme song that you can find and download all over the net.

In 1949 there is a film known as “My Dream Is Yours”. On this movie there’s a scene where Bugs Bunny tries to awaken a bit boy. At a later date, the guy can then remain visible singing music with the two main stars, Jack Carson and Doris Day, wearing bunny suits. This movie has so dropped into obscurity who’s has not been seen on network television in over 40 years.

If you want really rare cartoons you won’t need to travel outside the U . s ., but in 1924 Russia produced a bit over four dozen propaganda films. These animations were never exported. These were made solely when considering winning within the hearts and minds with the Russian people. These cartoons were anti American, anti capitalist, anti fascist and anti any situation that wasn’t the Russian way of thinking. Over Four decades later nobody knows so what happened to these animations.

Even many of the more famous animators ever started out start by making cartoons that nobody has heard about. For instance, a gentleman known as Duane Crowther, who was simply a really famous animator during the 1950s, started out his career by making a unusual cartoon known as Blum Blum. This is a cartoon Crowther made whilst was only Twenty years old. Blum Blum was basically a cartoon with regards to a character who wonder who he is. The animation ranges from the beginning as Napoleon then turning out to be your pet dog along with a number of other creatures. The animation is crude by today’s standards. You can get the animation online by only searching for either Duane Crowther or Blum Blum on any search results.

These are just a few of the an incredible number of rare animations that a lot of likely men and women will either never see or have for ages been forgotten by anyone who has seen them.

Perhaps it would be great if we may get our face to face these rare gems? A possible problem is always to find time to look at them.
