When NEWS Is just too big Much Information

The cast of characters are settling looking their new situations. They think that nothing much must be happening to upset that world, yet, they may be surprisingly wrong.


This tale of innuendo, gossip, lies, misdirection and intrigue finds authentically as being a comedy of errors and misinformation. The premise is easy enough and simply subtle enough to supply a good base.

Ma Foster provides housing on her “girls,” Bella, Chloe and Kitty. Currently the three in residence are missing. Ma constitutes a huge problem regarding it. She even would go to a nearby newspaper when the local police do not act upon her fears. She does bring in the out-of-work detective, the newest editor with the local newspaper and lastly the location itself.

The central character is Henrietta, who had been named after the town in question, Henryetta, Oklahoma. Henrietta provides extensive looking for her nowadays, she has transferred to the top city, OKC, OK and landed work with the local t.v. station. Although this doesn’t strengthen your journalistic career, it will get her in the heart of Leisure and events of the morning. The most common players for Henryetta are Wynona Sue, Henrietta’s hairdresser mother stars in the “reality” show, see later. Her husband, Professor LeHough, a neighborhood bug expert is bald from the surprise shaving. Rodney, Henrietta’s boyfriend, camera man buddy and overall best ally is pulled and tugged by Henrietta and her immediate boss Miss Peg. Harold Mixon, the master and editor emeritus with the local weekly newspaper, just recently put on the web is wanting to have a pleasant and quiet Labor Day weekend together with his friends at the International Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.).

The other main characters are Gigi Carpenter, a feminist reporter turned editor with the local newspaper. Max (Maximo) Morgan a would-be gum shoe private eye having a penchant for old murder mysteries, especially Dashiel Hammet’s “Fat Man” tales. Then Deano DeBoffo because “reality” show director wanting to shot an airplane pilot to get a new show. Finally, Shatner Lapp, as being a newsman, publisher, editor and all-round classic boy, relates to town to aid in his Princeton buddy’s newspaper problems.

Once these individuals have a go at the gossip laden townsfolk, the misinformation flies. With increased rumors then a facts probably warrant, the 3 missing girls be and much more objects of speculation and intrigue while almost no factual facts are given. The rumors start off mild because missing girls are only searched for by Ma and Maximo.

These rumors and gossip finally resulted in a major “reporter war” between Shat and Gigi. The misinformation here becomes the avalanche cascading on the news and then the townspeople.
