How weddings have changed on the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; a straightforward wedding car to expensive and huge wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Speaking of rogues, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a wedding and guests do anticipate hearing them, talking about them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered before the meal, through the meal and after your food, yet it’s of your strong opinion how the wedding speeches ought to be delivered after the meal. I understand that for a lot of wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father from the father of the groom speech (the five main speakers), they would would rather possess the wedding speeches prior to the meal, to allow them to enjoy their meal (some of them are spending money for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and how many (and indeed the wedding ceremony venue staff) would like the wedding ceremony speeches to be delivered as soon as the meal for most reasons, a few of which include:
The invited guests are already fed and watered and aren’t listening to wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be the case ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food might be cooked and served at the agreed time (introduce the marriage speeches ahead of the meal along with their could be a delay of Quarter-hour to at least one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches become the transition from your meal to the dancing (broke and alone happening following your meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ being shared regarding the Bride & Groom after which they do know they could wake up, move, have a break, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It can be difficult for folks in the Bride & Groom to communicate in in public places, as the majority of them would not be used of computer. So, they may, if they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.
There should be some kind of formal speech(es) following the meal…
