A fresh 2016 Christmas rock tune has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key goal of getting awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day website .

The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used session musicians to record the track durring a 6 week period. The track contains 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the USA due to Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The song is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key purpose of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as we are able to and then we hope in-turn they’ll be good enough to donate to one or all of the Phuket charities, and to also buy the song.
One other absolute goal is to have enough downloads of the track to fund and create a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to promote his music Tsunami Day that was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to simply help including a Thailand Resort and cheap flights to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
