Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is a small family-oriented breeder located in Raleigh, NC. Our love for English Cream Golden Retrievers began with the earnest search for a great pet dog. We needed a puppy which was kid-friendly and trainable, with a calm, gentle temperament and then we began searching for breeds which in fact had characteristics compatible with our lifestyle.
Because we enjoy hiking, lake and beach time, we would have liked your pet dog that loved water and workout. It was also key the dog not be a barker because we work from home. After much research, we chose the English Cream Golden Retrievers, that was the right fit for individuals.
We searched for months for the quality male from your responsible small family breeder, and finally found him. In 2008, we fell completely fond of our first boy, Kozmo, together with his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, and now we were immediately excited about the breed. We added Holly to family and, in 2014, our extended dog family did start to form with our first litter likely to carefully selected friends and family.
After witnessing the enrichment of countless lives, we were inspired to continue sharing our special dogs with increased families as well as the broader community.
Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying a lot of our own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It is been a satisfying experience for your family, the dogs, as well as the individuals getting the comfort and joy our dogs present to everyone.
We continue our concentrate on dogs best-suited being loving family and hopefully future therapy dogs.
