What is a carbide burr
Carbide burrs are tools used for deburring, cutting, shaping, grinding, and chamfering hard materials. Different cuts of carbide burrs will probably be suitable for certain materials.
Carbide burrs are used in air tools like die grinders, pneumatic rotary tools and high-speed engravers, Micro Motors, Pendant Drills, Flexible Shafts, and hobby rotary tools.
Why use Carbide burrs over HHS(high-speed steel)?

Single cut Burrs are suitable for General Purpose. It will give good material removal and smooth workpiece finishes.
Single cut is employed with metal, hardened steel, copper, certain, and ferrous metals and may remove material quickly which has a smooth finish. Can be used Deburring, cleaning, milling, material removal or creating long chips
Double cut Burrs enable rapid stock removal in harder materials and tougher applications. The designs reduces pulling action, that allows better operator control, and reduces chips
Double cut burrs are utilized on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminium, soft steel and for all non-metal materials for example stone, plastics, hardwood, and ceramic. This cut has more cutting edges and will remove material faster.
Double-cut leaves a smoother finish than single-cut because of producing smaller chips while they cut away the material. Use double-cut for medium-light stock removal, deburring, fine finishing, cleaning, smooth finishes, and creating smaller chips. Double cut carbide burrs are the most widely used and work with most applications.
